Itinerary
Day 1
UYUNI - SALAR DESERT - THUNUPA VOLCANO.
7 Stops
Salar de Uyuni
This is a unique experience that you can not enjoy anywhere in the world and the time of your life.
You will enjoy your time focusing only on the pleasure of the landscapes, colors, salt, water, dust, wind and especially colors contrasted with a blue sky and a white sheet of salt.
You will enjoy landscapes made just for you, places where you will not see anyone, just you.
We will visit more attractive than normal and frequented by the rest of the visitors.
Very old trains from the time of the RAILWAY 1890 company
Trains initially used to transport silver minerals from the Pulacayo Mine (1890-1973)
Uyuni becomes a railway station of steps of all national and foreign products
The largest steam locomotive workshop in South America was located in the city of Uyuni-Potosi-Bolivia.
The closest town to the Uyuni salt flat is Colchani, a very picturesque town of adobe buildings that were dedicated for years only to the salt process until tourism was born in the region and began to develop a series of crafts and souvenirs so that visitors take away.
The salt crafts are made in colchani, the rest come from cities such as La Paz, Sucre, Tarija, Cochabamba and Peru.
We entered the world's largest salt flat, a place where it will be difficult for them to locate where they are for a certain time.
And if you saw snow and ice in your life, it would seem to be on it, but it is a different component, sodium cloride in a great magnitude desert.
We start the bike tour for as long as visitors want, some do 15 km or 25 km in an hour, since everything is flat and in a straight line.
The bicycles that nomada experience owns are of rim 29 hydraulic brakes, front damping and a team of shimano relief and deore boxes.
LUNCH TIME in the middle of the salt flat, we take care of taking all our non-polluting feeding equipment to the environment, since everything can be washed and recycled.
Thunupa Volcano Hostal.
We stayed at the thunupa volcano in double or matrimonial rooms with private bathrooms, hot water showers and a very nice view of the volcano and the town.
